That Times Square AU

Fandom:
Bandom; MCR

Pairing: Frank/Mikey (primarily)

Disclaimer: I don't own Frank, Mikey, Pansy, the warehouse district, the idea of boy on boy action, or Times Square, the very loose inspiration for this. None of this really happened. It is, however, moderately interesting to read about.

Rating/Content: The story at large is rated R - sections vary. Readers should be aware that the following story addresses: mental illness/treatment (including a suicide attempt), institutionalization, homelessness (past and present), dubious consent(/statutory rape), drug use, basically a whole host of UNFLUFFY IDEAS. Most of these are only vaguely alluded to - the mental illness and homelessness, however, are key plot points. If any of these are problems for you please BE AWARE that they will be making an appearance in the story before entering into this space.

Author's Note: For [info]modernsaints (for being my beta, psychic-hug-giver, the last unicorn, and writing me vampire AUs), [info]lunamorgan (for refusing to be my beta because she likes my stuff so much, and also being my plot muse at 3 in the morning), and [info]orange74 (who actually likes this fic! and is really just awesomesauce).

Chapter Three - Frank )

Fandom:
Bandom; MCR

Pairing: Frank/Mikey (primarily)

Disclaimer: I don't own Frank, Mikey, MCR (or any of the various cameos in this chapter or their bands), Belleville or Hoboken, New York City, psychiatry, the fine art of squatting, or sadly, an ambulance. I do own this piece of fiction and the computer it was written on. I also don't own Times Square, the very loose inspiration for this.

Rating/Content: The story at large is rated R - sections vary from PG to hard R (eg, smutty).

Author's Note: I owe huge thanks to [info]modernsaints for betaing the shit out of this, as well as [info]lunamorgan for the pushing, nudging and encouraging, as well as [info]orange74 who always makes me want to post more of this.

That Times Square AU
Fandom: Bandom; MCR
Pairing: Frank/Mikey (with some others alluded to in various chapters, but F/M take up the screen time)

Disclaimer: I don't own Frank and Mikey. AFAIK, any shares are equally split between their wives, pets, cell phone companies, Warner Brothers, Blizzard Entertainment and Gibson/Epiphone.

Ahem. Times Square, on which this story is [very loosely] based, is the intellectual property of Allan Moyle, and Jacob Brackman. Given the fact that Moyle (writer/director) walked off the set, I don't feel too bad telling you that you can watch the entirety of this film here if you'd like to give it a try.

Near the bus stop, a woman was carrying
red chrysanthemums in a glass jar.
She dropped them. I didn't see it happen,
but I know she did. My spine straightened
and I instinctively felt in my pocket for what I'd
been carrying: keys, coins and a healthy
hatred for almost anyone in love.

Still there. (She picked up the pieces and got on the bus.)

Whenever I momentarily lose the latter
among men with good intentions
and mothers with children
yet unfazed by eight hour days and
conditional love,

I stop and remember:

That the world is good because you're in it
And bad because I am. Then I keep going.

(by erin; from this prompt)

A measure of good vs. bad, or maybe just an exercise in chaotic physics )

Wow, depressing. But just a chapter.

So, I know I haven't written anything for the 100 challenge in what seems like years and is probably only a month or so. But this was a school assignment, and besides, there's nothing wrong with some good girlsmut in a while.

This goes here because Monday is the singer/sometime guitarist for the band No Cover, and therefore can go on my bandslash page.

Apologies for the "smart quotes" later on; it got a bit too long to edit.

This was partially inspired by this article aboutThursday's new album, on which Geoff talks about lots of things, including Gerard and stomach problams.

Title:Disconnect
Fandom:Thursday/MCR
Pairing:Geoff/Gerard
Prompt: 30. Death.
Word Count:733
Rating:R for topic, language, brief sexual entendre.
Author's Notes: The stomach ulcers happened. The Gerard/Geoff didn't. Gerard said I could write fanfiction. I mean, I don't own this, and I don't have any money, so please don't sue.
